Barcelona, Postcards

Postcard from…La Sagrada Familia

Quite possibly my favourite building ever, Sagrada Familia is a stunningly epic cathedral in the centre of Barcelona, Spain.

Built by the architect Gaudi, who has left his stamp all over the city, the church is still years away from being completed. But that doesn’t mean it’s not worth a visit now! It was one of the absolute must dos when I visited Barcelona, and I couldn’t not get a postcard!

Top Tips

  • The queue can get quite lengthy, so it’s a good idea to buy tickets online beforehand if you can.
  • The outside of the building is, as I said before, absolutely stunning. But if you can, head inside because it’s even better!
  • For more information on just how much thought has gone into the building and the symbolism of everything, grab the audio guide – so worth it!
