Postcard from…Brussels

We only had a short amount of time in Brussels, and unfortunately the weather was not on our side. Luckily, my boyfriend and I are British, so we’re more than used to a bit of rain, and it didn’t stop us exploring the city.

I was very keen to explore the cathedral in the city, and as we walked closer we saw that there were TV cameras around and people weren’t being allowed into the cathedral. We didn’t find out until we were on the train home that it was actually the Queen’s funeral that day, but we continued on and just took photos of the outside. Unfortunately, the rain was so bad at this point that nearly all of my photos have rain marks on them, so I just had to get a postcard with the cathedral and surrounding area!

I really like your idea of sharing post cards! You have some nice pictures. When we were in Brussels it was raining as well, but that meant we got to see the comic book museum!

    • Thank you! We had such bad weather in Brussels…if it wasn’t raining, it was super windy! We didn’t have time for the comic book museum, but it looks cool – will have to visit next time I’m in Brussels 🙂
