The sunny Costa del Sol is a holiday hotspot on the south east coast of Spain. During the summer, you can expect long days of glorious sunshine and dips in the warm sea.
Unfortunately for me, I visited in March. While there may not have been long, warm days with the southern Spanish sun, anything was better than the delightfully rubbish weather England lays on for us at that time. So I was grateful that we could be on the beach in light jackets, and at least it was still sunny.
As per tradition, I picked up this postcard from the small town we were staying in, Estepona. About halfway between the larger city of Malaga and Gibraltar, it’s a great place for a bit of time away from anything, and we were well placed to visit neighbouring towns and even Gibraltar to see the monkeys (more on that at a later date…).
