Gibraltar, Postcards

Postcard from…Gibraltar

Tucked away on the southern end of Spain, Gibraltar is a complete mind melt. As you cross the border from Spain into the country, you immediately notice the differences. Not only does the main road in cross the country’s only runway, but the decor is traditionally British. In fact, you could be forgiven for thinking you were in England. The traffic lights are British, the railings on the road are British, even the police have British uniforms.

And when my parents returned from their cruise with this postcard for me, I didn’t quite get it. Then I realised the other main attraction in Gibraltar – the rock. It’s pretty difficult to miss, is home to hundreds of monkeys, and was one of the main reasons I had a day trip there a few years back!Postcard of the Gibraltar Monkeys
