Although I had just one full day in Dresden, I made the most of it by exploring the compact city and seeing as much as possible. First stop of the day was Frauenkirche, and I loved the views from the top. Of course, this had to be one of the postcards I picked up in Dresden, and I love how dramatic the church looks lit up at night.
Most of the day in Dresden was spent walking around to soak up the sights, and really experience the charm of the city. As I wandered among the old, cobble-stoned roads I stumbled upon the huge mosaic, before finding myself on the river bank. It’s such a pretty city and even after WWII it still feels so historical.
It’s a shame I couldn’t find a postcard of one of my favourite sights of Dresden – Kunsthofpassage. The musical building brings a bit of fun to rainy days, and I’ll use it as an excuse to revisit Dresden to find a postcard!
